In 2022, I lost my best friend, Comet the GSP, to an exceptionally aggressive and traumatic cancer called hemangiosarcoma. It broke me in ways I can’t fully explain.
Fast forward to April 2026 — my beautiful girl, Phoenix, who is only 2 years old, has now been diagnosed with a mast cell tumour.
Because of its aggressive and infiltrative nature, we have made the decision — alongside specialist oncologists — to amputate her affected leg. This gives her the best possible chance at a full cure. We may also follow this with a round of chemotherapy to push that chance as close to 100% as possible.
The difference this time is everything.
