Help Raise Funds for the purchase of farmland

Cape Town, South Africa, Cheryl-Lyn’s Rescue Organisation (CRO), a grassroots animal rescue operating since 2015, is facing a critical turning point as the farm it currently occupies is set to be sold, putting hundreds of rescued animals at risk of displacement.

Founded by Cheryl-Lyn Potgieter, the organisation has built a reputation for rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abused, neglected and abandoned animals across Cape Town. Over the years, CRO has grown from a small rescue effort into a full-scale sanctuary, offering a safe haven to animals that have nowhere else to go.

The Cape Farms property they currently occupy has served as a vital base for their operations, housing animals in recovery, those awaiting adoption, and permanent sanctuary residents.

With the impending sale of the farm, CRO now faces the urgent challenge of securing alternative land and resources to continue its work.
