About This Campaign
Help Rebuild El Paso Lodge After Devastating Mozambique Floods
El Paso is more than a lodge.
It is a lifetime of work, a family home, and a legacy built with bare hands, faith, and perseverance.
In 1998, Kestell and Carla Heyneke left South Africa in search of a dream in Mozambique. After years of hard work and sacrifice, they found their forever place in 2011 on a quiet peninsula in Macaneta. There, surrounded by palm trees, horses, and the ocean air, they began building what would become El Paso Lodge — a place where the spirit of the Old West met the beauty of the Mozambican coastline.
What started as a clearing in the bush and two horses slowly grew into a unique cowboy-style lodge:
The Liveri, their first chalet and the foundation of their new life
The Blacksmith, a small bar that became the heart of the lodge
The Saloon, alive with music, laughter, and unforgettable memories
The Stables, home to a growing herd that carried guests across golden dun...
