Renier’s Story – Help with Living expenses and to promote his book, So He Can Earn a Living while fighting progressive Metastatic Melanoma Cancer. 

Hi everyone, 

I’m writing to share my brother Renier’s story with humility and hope. 

Renier is living with Stage IV metastatic melanoma, an aggressive cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes and nerves in his face and neck. Since his first operation in June 2024, he has undergone numerous major surgeries over nearly two years on his face and neck in an attempt to remove tumours and control the disease. These operations, together with the progression of the cancer, have left him permanently disfigured, in constant pain, and with hearing loss, speech impairment, and loss of vision in one eye. 

Before his diagnosis, Renier was a hardworking professional in a consumer management position, a career that relied heavily on communication, hearing, and clear speech.
