Help Riley and her team Smooth Sailors Represent South Africa at the First Lego League International Competition in South Korea 🇿🇦
A 13-year-old South African robotics innovator has the chance to compete on the world stage — but she needs our help to get there.
Riley Campbell, has been selected with her Northlands Primary team, the Smooth Sailors, to represent South Africa at the First Lego League International Competition in South Korea in July 2026.
Riley has been a dedicated member of the Northlands robotics programme for four years and served as Co-Captain of the Smooth Sailors, Head of innovation and Core Values Specialist.
In December 2025, the Smooth Sailors achieved an incredible result by placing 4th in South Africa at the First Lego League National Championships in Johannesburg, earning an invitation to compete on the international stage in South Korea.
