Help Rochelle & Owen Get Back on Our Feet

Hello, My name is Rochelle, and I’m a single mother to my six-year-old son, Owen.

I never imagined I would find myself creating a fundraiser like this. I’ve always tried to manage things myself and make sure that Owen is provided for, but over the past few years a combination of circumstances has left us in a financial position that I can no longer get out of on my own. 

Owen has had significant lung and medical problems over the years, which have meant repeated medical expenses and periods where his health has needed a lot of attention. As his mother, I have always done everything I could to make sure he gets the care he needs, but the costs have gradually taken a toll on us financially.

At the same time, I have been trying to support our household while dealing with an unstable income and without a reliable financial safety net. I have fallen behind on several expenses while continuing to prioritise Owen’s basic needs and education.
