My name is Iona Weyers, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart—but also with hope.

My husband, Ronnie Weyers, is more than just the man I love. He’s the father of our 6-year-old son, a well-known barber in the Boston, Bellville community, and a man who has always taken deep pride in caring for his family and those in his chair.

He’s the kind of guy who remembers your story, lifts your spirits with a fresh cut, and sends you out the door standing taller than before. Now he's the one who needs lifting.

🩺 Our Journey So Far

Early May: Ronnie started showing flu-like symptoms but kept pushing through work.

Mid-May: Symptoms worsened—fever, nausea, and a persistent cough. He was treated for a respiratory infection.

26 May: Admitted to Karl Bremer Hospital; doctors found a dark patch on his lung...
