Recently, Ryan underwent a significant surgery where they amputated above the ankle. In two weeks, he will face another operation to amputate below the knee and start preparing for a prosthesis. The doctors at Baragwanath Hospital are hopeful that they have managed to control the infection. Despite the physical and emotional pain, Ryan’s resilience and the unwavering love from his mom, Sheryl Vos, have been truly inspiring.
