Campaign Update

When we launched this campaign, our goal was simple: to get one vulnerable teenager to safety.

Thanks to your generosity, compassion and encouragement, we achieved that. She is safe. She's still at school, working towards her matric, receiving the medical and psychiatric care she needs and, for the first time in a very long time, living in a stable home where she is loved unconditionally.

Every single person who donated, shared our story or simply stood beside us helped make that possible. Thank you.

We genuinely believed the hardest part was behind us.

Sadly, we were wrong.

This remarkable young woman lives with complex medical conditions, significant mental health challenges and neurodevelopmental differences. Many of these challenges stem from years of neglect, abuse and trauma during her childhood, while others require ongoing specialist medical care.

Instead of being allowed to focus on healing, managing her health and completing her final year of school, she is now facing an escalating legal battle.
