About This Campaign
ARRC is a cat sanctuary for abused, neglected, abandoned and feral cats that cannot be released back to where they came from after sterilization (TNR) due to dangerous conditions. ARRC also feeds numerous feral cat colonies in Durban, SA, and supplies food to a number of feral feeders. The sanctuary is home to approximately 100 cats - each cat has a name, and each is loved dearly.
Being a rehab centre, some of the cats are on chronic medication and require frequent vet / medical assessments. The cats all get a nutritious diet comprising dry (Hills & RC), wet and raw food. All the cats are sterilized, vaccinated, and vet treated as necessary. We need help paying off the vet bills, fixing the remaining damage to the property left after the floods and repairs to the electric fence for security reasons, and helping with ever-increasing costs towards food.
I would love to pay off the vet bills - our vets are extremely important to us, and with several chronic care cats and many sterilizations, the vet bills run to approximately R30 000 / month.
