Help André Represent South Africa on the World Coffee Stage

For André, coffee has never simply been a job. It is a craft, a community and a way to show the world what South Africans are capable of.

Over the years, he has poured himself into learning, competing, training other baristas and helping to grow South Africa’s specialty-coffee culture. 

After winning the 2026 South African Origami Cup, he has qualified to compete at the Origami World Championship in Tokyo in May 2027. This national title is an incredible honour, but it does not include sponsorship or financial assistance. André must personally cover the cost of getting to Japan, staying in Tokyo and taking part in the competition. We therefore need to raise at least R60,000 to help make his journey possible.
