Hi everyone,

My name is Shakeer January. I am a young, dedicated rugby player from Mitchells Plain who truly believes that the impossible can become possible.

I am beyond proud and excited to share that I have been selected to represent the Western Cape at the upcoming Junior Inter-Provincial Tournament (JIPT)!

Rugby has been a transformative part of my life. It has taught me invaluable lessons about discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience—pushing me to never give up, no matter the odds. Being chosen for this team is a huge milestone; it reflects the commitment, determination, and skills I have worked tirelessly to develop over the years.

For me, this opportunity is about much more than just traveling to another province. By participating in this tournament, I aim to elevate my rugby abilities, learn from top-tier coaches and players, and grow as both an athlete and an individual. Most importantly, I want to prove to myself that with dedication and grit, I can achieve my goals and continue pursuing my dreams in rugby.
