Help Shalen Keep Fighting

I never thought I’d be here again, writing something like this.

My recent CT scan results weren’t good. My cancer has progressed, the ascites is back, and my body is struggling. Chemotherapy hasn’t worked, and the only treatment that has ever made a real difference for me is immunotherapy. The very treatment that can give me a real chance to fight, but right now, I can’t afford it.

This isn’t my first fight. With the help of so many of you, my previous BackaBuddy campaigns quite literally gave me more time, more life. Time I got to spend with the people I love. Time I wasn’t supposed to have. Your support before made this possible, and I’ll never forget it.

Now I’m asking, humbly, for help again. Every contribution, every share, every word of encouragement, every prayer brings me closer to getting the treatment I desperately need. 

I know times are hard, and everyone has their own battles. But if you’re able to help in any way, it would mean more than I can put into words.
