The Story of Snowy
Meet Snowy, a gentle and resilient 6-year-old soul who has been a cherished part of the Vaalpets family. Snowy has spent her years waiting for her forever home, but recently, her journey took an unexpected and painful turn.
What Happened?
Snowy began struggling to walk, showing visible signs of discomfort and pain. After a veterinary examination, it was discovered that she had suffered a complete tear of her left cranial cruciate ligament in her back leg. This injury is incredibly painful and severely limited her ability to move, run, and simply enjoy life as a dog should.
The Solution
To give Snowy the quality of life she deserves, she required a major orthopedic surgery known as a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy). We are so happy to share that Snowy came through the surgery successfully! She is currently resting, healing, and showing the brave spirit that makes us all love her so much.
