Meet Teacher Joanne, an extraordinary educator who has touched countless lives with kindness and compassion. For many years Teacher Jo, as she so affectionately is known by, has gone above and beyond to help students, in all phases of their lives, whether it be dedication on the sport field or endless patience and support in the classroom.

Now its our turn to show appreciation and support.

The Challenge

Teacher Jo, is facing unexpected medical and financial difficulties, and needs surgery on 15th November 2024.

On the 11th October 2024, at a routine x-ray, her legs were pushed straight after telling the staff she couldn't lie with her legs straight, it was forced non the less, 5 days later and she was on crutches, with the strength diminishing from her right leg and rather rapidly.

Medical investigation in the way of MRI,  it has been discovered that her L3 has herniated and pressing on her spinal Cord. Teacher Jo has Cauda Equina as per MRI and this could see her in a wheelc...
