Help Thabo Fund His Wife's Funeral

Thabo Qozile recently lost his beloved wife Miriam, after a short illness caused by a brain tumour. During her final days she was conscious but completely unresponsive — a deeply heartbreaking experience for Thabo and his family.

Sadly, they did not have a funeral policy in place, and Thabo is now faced with covering the full funeral cost of R13 950 on his own. Thabo works for us twice a week, and while we are doing everything we can to support him, we are unable to carry all the financial costs.

In the months leading up to this loss, Thabo also endured another devastating hardship — his informal home and all his belongings were destroyed in a fire. Among the irreplaceable items he lost were precious photos of his wife that were saved on his phone, making this loss even more painful. He is now left to care for his two young children on his own.
