My name is Ainslie, and I live with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI Type 2), a condition that affects my bone strength, mobility, and overall independence. I rely on a wheelchair for daily movement and require a living environment that is safe and accessible. Because of this, even small structural issues in a home can have a major impact on my safety and quality of life. In 2014, my family was given a government-built home after years of housing instability, which brought us much-needed relief at the time. However, while the house provided shelter, many of the promised accessibility features were never completed, and over the years the home has developed serious maintenance issues that now affect safety and daily living.

I am starting this fundraiser to create a more stable, accessible, and dignified living space where I can function more independently, improve my quality of life, and build a stronger foundation for my future.
