Help Raise Funds for Liam’s Wheelchair Backrest

We are raising funds to provide 16-year-old Liam January with a new wheelchair backrest - an essential piece of equipment that will give him the back and postural support he needs and improve his comfort and quality of life.

Liam lives with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as brittle bone disease, a genetic condition that causes his bones to be extremely fragile.

But Liam's story isn't defined by his condition.

He is a Grade 9 learner at Vista Nova High School, a CMWSA Ambassador, an avid gamer, a big brother - and he has his sights firmly set on the future.

Liam wants to become a doctor.

When asked why he wants to help raise awareness for Colour My World South Africa, Liam said:

“To encourage everyone that dreams are not impossible.”

And that is exactly why this fundraiser matters.
