Help Us Bridge the Digital Divide

We are working to close the digital skills gap in South Africa by providing digital literacy training, youth empowerment programmes, and access to technology for unemployed young people.

During our recent digital inclusion training programme, we received overwhelming interest from young people eager to learn computer skills, digital literacy, and job readiness skills. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate everyone due to one critical barrier—lack of access to laptops.

The Problem: Digital Exclusion in South Africa

Many young people are still excluded from opportunities because they do not have access to:

• Digital skills training
• Online learning and education platforms
• Job applications and work readiness tools
• Basic ICT and computer literacy resources

Without access to a device, they are locked out of the digital economy, employment opportunities, and skills development pathways.
