🌱 Campaign Story

In the heart of Brackenfell, Cape Town, something magical is growing. Where once there was only dry, forgotten land, the community came together — through love, sweat, and the guidance of nature — to create a living sanctuary:

🌳 Suikerbossie Park Community Garden — home to 480 fruit trees, food gardens, flowers, wildlife, and hope.

For over 3 years, volunteers have nurtured this 2-hectare space with hand tools, borrowed resources, and a dream: to make nourishment and nature accessible to all.

We planted trees gifted by Department of Forestry, Green for Life, Interlude Nursery, Induli Wholesale Nursery, Trees SA, and Casidra. Trees to feed people. Trees to cool the earth. Trees to heal trauma. Trees to stand against climate change.
