South Africa is facing an unprecedented series of disasters. A mix of changing weather patterns, human error, and strong winds, compounded by sub-standard living conditions, have led to widespread tragedy, pain, and suffering. The need for immediate action has never been more critical.

Gift of the Givers has been at the forefront, responding to a surge in assistance requests from twenty areas hit by recent severe weather, which escalated to a Level 9 storm warning. From tackling fires over the Easter Weekend to addressing the aftermath of devastating winds and rain, our mission spans from the Southern Cape to the Northern Cape, and from urban centers to remote communities.
