Help us make it to the wedding

My husband’s childhood best friend is getting married, and he was the best man at our own wedding, standing right beside us on one of the biggest days of our lives. Now it’s his turn to walk down the aisle, and we can’t imagine not being there to cheer him on.

Here’s the challenge: we live in Cape Town, the wedding is in Joburg, and right now flights cost about the same as a small island (about R7 500). Love may move mountains, but sadly it doesn’t cover plane tickets!

This wedding isn’t just about watching two people say “I do.” For us, it’s about showing up for someone who has always shown up for us.

So I'm reaching out for a little help. Every rand brings us closer.
