💙 Help us support Bavish on his road to recovery 💙
On the 31st of July 2026, Apprentice Jockey Bavish Soodoo was involved in a fall during a race at Fairview Racecourse, sustaining a significant traumatic brain injury. What followed has been an incredibly challenging journey, but Bavish’s recovery so far has been nothing short of a miracle. 💙
We’re incredibly happy to share that Bavish is now home in Mauritius and continuing his recovery surrounded by his family and loved ones. 🥰
He has come such a long way since his accident. His progress has been incredible, and his determination, strength and fighting spirit have inspired everyone around him. He still has a road ahead, but every step forward is worth celebrating. 🙏
We’re raising funds to help cover his ongoing rehabilitation and therapy, hyperbaric chamber treatments, and flights to South Africa and back to Mauritius for his specialist follow-up in October.
