Dear friends, family, and beloved community,

I write this with a full and tender heart.
In August 2024, my life changed in a way I could never have imagined when I was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. I was not prepared—emotionally or financially—for what lay ahead. When my community stepped forward in December through the BackaBuddy campaign, I was carried in ways I will forever be grateful for. Your generosity, love, prayers, messages, and presence gave me the support I needed to focus on healing.

Because of you, my spinal surgery healed beautifully, and my tumour markers dropped dramatically—from 640 in October 2024 to 32 by August 2025. It felt nothing short of miraculous. I remain deeply thankful for this chapter of recovery and for every single person who helped make it possible.
