Help Zelia regain her ZEST for life

Zelia was on her way to Greys Hospital for a checkup on 22 July 2024, her mother was still in town when Zelia had a seizure and stopped breating. Her mother had to drag her out of the car and perform CPR on the sidewalk. Thankfully Zelia was able to start breathing again, long enough for medical staff to arrive and transport her via ambulance to Madadeni hospital. Unfortunately once there she had multiple seizures which were difficult to get under control and the decision was made to intubate her. A CT scan was done and revealed that the VP shunt was not working. Once stable enough she was sent to Greys Hospital where she was admitted to ICU and underwent surgery to have the VP shunt reinserted, the surgeons also opted to have a tracheostomy done instead of intubation.

She was released and recovering well at home, (eating well speaking and even having a few jokes)  and scheduled to start physical therapy, while changing her beddeing her mother noticed she was feeling very uncomfortable and complaining of severe headache...
