Helping a young netball athlete get to Dubai

Hi my name is Zanokuhle Kubeka a grade 10 Ferrum student who was recently given the opportunity of a lifetime to take part in the BRSI Storms ne ball Dubai 7’s tournament on the 23rd November 2026 .

This opportunity will not only allow me to play against international teams gaining knowledge and experience but it’ll also give me the chance to possibly be scouted by overseas clubs allowing me to be a step closer to my netball dream

As a young girl I’ve always chased and gone after my dreams and this is an opportunity every girl dreams of as not only will I represent my KZN but I’ll also represent South Africa in this prestigious tour

My netball journey over the past years has been nothing short of amazing as God opened many doors for me allowing to play in various competion and now I’ve been granted the chance to go abroad and do the thing I love most.

This opportunity will open many doors for me as a girl from a small town where we get little to no recognition as many people may not know of Newcastle
