My name is Chelsea Hartslief. I am 27 years old.
I was officially diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in 2020(A connective tissue disorder that affects the whole body including your GI Tract). I have struggled most my life with health. In March 2024 just before my birthday after years of struggling with GI issues I was officially diagnosed with gastroparesis(Paralized stomach - I had a clinical diagnosis before and had been on feeding tubes).
After NG's and NJ's failed(Naso-gastric, naso-jejunal feeding tubes), a surgery was highly recommended to assist the movement of food from my stomach to the intestines. During this surgery a feeding tube was placed into the jejunum to help me nutritionally.
