Hello everyone
I am Lisa, mommy of beautiful little 3-year-old Mason.
Mason was born with a condition called Septo Optic dysplasia. Mason's brain didn't grow as it's supposed to , he is missing his Corpus callosum and septum pellucidum, which causes massive developmental delays, spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy, autism and a lot of sensory processing problems. His pituitary gland is also underdeveloped and he has to take hormone therapies 5 times a day.
His optic nerves are also underdeveloped leaving him legally blind with minimal vision. He also has a random overgrowth syndrome and is the size of a typical 6/7 year old weighing 37kg at age 3.
All these challenges make it very difficult for Mason to thrive. He can't go to any school at this stage because he had pneumonia in 2022 caused by 3 viral infections covid,rsv and adeno. As a result he now has lung damage ( bronchiolitis obliteris and bronchiectasis) and his doctor's explained that the simplist infection could easi...
