In his memory of my dad and in honor of his enduring spirit, I've committed to participating in Comrades 2024, a marathon that holds immense personal significance for me. I've chosen to dedicate my run to a cause that resonates deeply with me and embodies the hope and resilience my Dad exhibited throughout his life - Rainbows and Smiles, a childhood cancer foundation.

When I stumbled upon an advertisement from Rainbows and Smiles seeking Comrades runners to support their noble cause, it was a no-brainer for me. Losing a loved one to cancer is an experience that defies explanation. It changes you in ways you never thought possible. But amidst the grief, there's a glimmer of hope - the opportunity to make a difference, no matter how small.
