HELP SAVE HENRICO – OUR 17-YEAR-OLD HERO FROM NEWCASTLE
On 7 December 2025, 17-year-old Henrico, a strong, healthy and kind-hearted boy, was walking home when he witnessed another boy being attacked with a bottle. Without thinking twice, Henrico ran forward to help. But in the next moment, everything changed. Another man came from behind and attacked Henrico with a baseball bat, hitting him on the head. The attackers jumped into a car and sped off, leaving him unconscious on the ground. His parents rushed him to a private medical clinic because the state hospital was not safe during the night. He was admitted immediately, but they had to pay R32 000 upfront just for the X-rays and emergency care.
The results came back showing the unthinkable:
Henrico is in a coma
There is bleeding on his brain
He is having seizures
Doctors said he needed emergency brain surgery to save his life. Before they could operate, the hospital required R250 000 upfront to admit him. His parents begged for a transfer to...
