HH Lighthouse Project

The HH Lighthouse Project was born from a reality we could no longer ignore.

Some boys in our wider community are growing up in circumstances where their parents may be present and loving, but poverty, unemployment, gang violence, unsafe communities, food insecurity and lack of basic resources place them at risk every day.

Before this project had a name, one family had already begun living out its purpose. For several years, they quietly opened their home to boys who needed safety, routine, meals, transport, guidance and belonging. They made space, shared what they had, supported school and football commitments, celebrated birthdays, included the boys in family life, and offered them the kind of everyday stability that every child deserves.

But as the need increased, it became clear that love alone was not enough. Host families need support. Parents need to remain part of the journey. Children need to be protected with dignity. And Hidden Halos needs a responsible structure to ensure that every decision is made in the best interests of the child.
