Hit-and-Run Victim (Rosie)

Late recently, PAWS Haven received an urgent call about a dog who had been hit by a vehicle and left injured on the side of the road in Mohadin.

Without hesitation, our officer Tokkie responded to the call and rushed to fetch the dog. Injured, frightened, and in pain, this dog had no one else to turn to — except us.

Despite it being after hours, Dr F. Gerber came in to assist and immediately began medical treatment. Thanks to this quick response, the dog was given a fighting chance instead of being left to suffer.

At this stage, treatment is ongoing, and medical costs are already mounting. As a shelter caring for hundreds of animals daily, unexpected emergencies like this place immense strain on our limited resources.

We are reaching out to the public to ask for help in covering the veterinary and medical expenses related to this hit-and-run case. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward this dog’s treatment and recovery.
