Sometimes, dreams take us by surprise—and for Shanike, that moment came after a recent hockey tournament when she was selected for the Elsie Coetzer Hockey School (ECHS) Invitational
Hockey Tour to the Netherlands and Germany in 2025!
At just 14 years old, Shanike’s dedication, discipline, and love for hockey have opened a door to an incredible international opportunity—one that only a few players were chosen for. This surprise selection has filled our hearts with pride and excitement, knowing she works hard for a moment like this.
But while this opportunity is golden, it comes with a financial challenge. As her parents, we are unfortunately unable to fund the full cost of the tour, despite our deepest wish to give her this opportunity.
