Hope for Amara:Fighting for our little Miracle🫶🏽

Our beautiful baby girl, Amara, is only 1 year and 7 months old and has already fought battles no child should ever have to face.

Amara was born a healthy, happy baby, and our lives changed in an instant when she suddenly became critically ill at just 6 months old. She started vomiting unexpectedly, and we rushed her to hospital believing it was something minor. While in hospital, she developed a severe infection that led her little body to go into sepsis. Her tiny body went into shock, and the infection caused her to go into MOD- Multiple Organ Dysfunction, lungs to were filled  with water , edema throughout her whole body and irreversible damage to her kidneys.

We almost lost her.

Amara was placed on life support twice, and there were moments when we did not know if she would make it through the night. She has undergone 7 surgery procedures endured lengthy hospital stays, and received several blood transfusions throughout her journey. Yet through it all, our little girl continues to fight every single day.
