Hope for Colin – Help Us Give Him the Medical Care He Needs

Our beloved son and family member, Colin, a 21-year-old young man from Merafong City, was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on 11 April 2026 and suffered critical injuries.

During emergency treatment, Colin’s heart stopped twice, and he stopped breathing. Doctors and emergency personnel performed CPR and were able to successfully revive him and restore circulation. These critical moments sadly resulted in a hypoxic brain injury due to the lack of oxygen to his brain during the cardiac arrests.

Colin is currently admitted to ICU at Potchefstroom Hospital, where he remains unresponsive while doctors continue to monitor his condition closely.

This has been one of the most painful, emotional, and heartbreaking journeys our family has ever faced. Since the accident, we have remained by Colin’s side every single day, holding onto faith, hope, and prayer for healing and recovery.
