About This Campaign

Recently, some two to three weeks ago, the focus individual of this campaign, Tom London, was rushed to hospital with severe lung complications.
After two weeks of treatment that was substandard at best, he posted a series of videos on Facebook live that went viral in South Africa. The story reached Etv news, Radio 702, Cape Talk and various other news channels.
Tom posted on his Facebook that he needs the funds to get a life-saving operation that is going to need to be funded because he cannot afford this, or he will have to go back to the very state hospitals that got him in that state in the first place.
Therefore this campaign to help Tom London.
You will by now have noticed the change to the target amount. The hospital administration have informed us that the expected figure is now R275000 for the operation.
As a result we, in consultation, have raised the target to cover all of the expected expenses. We trust you are all in agreement.
