My name is Ian Smith, I am 21 years old, full-time student and 5th child of 6 children. Within 3 months of intense training I received my first silver medallion at the IFBB SA Bodybuilding Championships in September '23 becoming a IFBB JUNIORS under 23 champion. I have been chosen to represent South Africa at the World Bodybuilding Championships in Santa Sussanna, Spain from the 1st to the 5th of November 2023.
It's an great honor and privilege to represent my country, South Africa in Spain. At this event I will also be receiving my Protea colours as a junior bodybuilder at the age of 21 for a sport that I have fallen in love with through discipline and the enormous support I have received from my family.
My parents adopted myself and another two of my 5 siblings into their loving family. With so many kids, one can imagine that it would be above my parents means to finance this trip to Spain. Most of the costs are paid...
