SHINE Education Centre is 100% volunteer-run, 100% free, and 100% committed to changing lives 🎓 We believe that no child’s future should be limited by their financial circumstances, and that every learner deserves the opportunity to read with confidence, succeed in school, and navigate the digital world.

We support Grade 4 to 9 learners who are falling behind in English, Mathematics, and Afrikaans, helping them close critical gaps before they become long-term barriers. At SHINE, we do more than teach academics we create a safe, nurturing space where children are encouraged, supported, and empowered to believe in themselves 🌱

Through literacy and numeracy support, digital skills, and essential life skills, we help each learner grow in confidence and ability. Our programme is completely free and made possible only through the generosity of donors and the dedication of our volunteers ❤️
