Hi,
My name is Shireen and I desperately need your assistance, PLEASE!
My mom is 72 years of age, a pensioner and desperately in need of a varicose vein removal operation.
On 25 October 2022 she discovered a small sore on her leg. Over time this sore became bigger and bigger. On 21 November 2022 she was admitted to the Netcare Pretoria East hospital where they treated her. The wound started healing and she was discharged.
Unfortunately in February of 2023 the sore got worse, only this time, a lot faster than before.
After numerous doctor visits, antibiotics and all kinds of treatment, the Dr referred her to be admitted to hospital again, only this time to the Netcare Linksfield hospital. She was treated by Vascular Surgeon, Dr Revelas. He discovered that she has varicose veins which pushes the normal veins closed. Blood and oxygen is not getting to the foot which causes the sore not to heal...
