For the sake of our kids

Dear family, friends, community…

 

I have initiated this Backabuddy campaign in order to generate support for a family in our very own community who is struggling greatly to keep a roof over their 3 little kids’ heads. 

 

They have endured incredible hardship over the past months as a result of prolonged unemployment and the absence of family to help support them. 

 

Whilst one parent has been actively seeking employment for more than a year, the other parent is employed but the Government funding which pays the salary has dried up a couple of months ago. 

 

On top of the already challenging financial situation, they have had to face serious medical challenges and unforeseen expenses in the last 6 months. They no longer have medical aid and have had to foot the bill for treatments themselves. 

 

Despite the extreme challenges this family faces, they are actively involved in the community, local schools and church and helping others in need wherever they can, al...
