Isabella Kirsten Strydom

Good day, 

My name is Martha Schurmann and I’d like to introduce you to my Granddaughter Isabella Kirsten Strydom, affectionately known as Bella. 

Bella is 11 years old and in Grade 5 at Warner Beach Preparatory School, in Warner Beach on the KZN South Coast. My daughter Tamara, is a single mom, who receives minimal financial assistance. Yet, in spite of this she has worked hard and made many sacrifices to ensure that her daughter is being raised with courage, care and consideration for others. 

Bella has been doing Karate at the Amanzimtoti JKA Dojo since 2022, and she has achieved well. She is a junior purple belt and has received KZN Colours 3 times and SA Colours twice. This year she achieved her KZN colours again, winning 2 Bronze medals for Kumite and Kata. She now qualifies to participate in the SA JKA Championships at Ellis Park in Johannesburg. 

This is where the wheels fall off. My daughter is unable to afford the expenses involved in getting her to Johannesburg to compete. And that is the reason for my appeal here. Please can...
