In December 2025, little Isla's family received the news every parent fears.
What started as something that seemed so small — a few swollen glands and a child who had only been feeling unwell for a couple of weeks — quickly turned into a nightmare no family could have prepared for.
After a visit to the doctor and follow-up blood tests, Isla's mom, Carla, sat in the GP's office waiting for answers.
Instead, she received the devastating news that her precious little girl had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects the body's ability to produce healthy blood cells.
