Italian Hockey Tour

Hello everyone, I am Owen Joubert, a 17-year-old boy from Meyerton, Gauteng, with a dream to get the most out of my field hockey career. 

I was scouted from the Rhino Week hockey tour to perform my best in Italy  in December 2024, from the 2nd to the 11th of December. My love for hockey started in the early stages of Grade 5 with just a ball, a stick, and a goal.

The purpose of the tour is to play in Italy with a sponsor and if I get scouted there and to just experience this once-in-a lifetime opportunity. My goal is to achieve the best in the sport I love most, as well as the crowd I love even more. 

The tour is estimated to cost around R50,000 for one player, which includes flights, hosts, entryfees, meals, transport, clothing, accessories, and other payments needed.
