Great person in need

Johan suffered a serious stroke on Sunday morning 24 March 2024. He was rushed to hospital and was stabilised at Vredenburg Public hospital as he has no medical aid. He was transferred to Somerset hospital in Cape Town to undergo a CT scan to establish the diagnosis and treatment. He was then transferred to the ICU at Grootte Schuur hospital where an emergency procedure was performed to improve the blood flow where the brain aneurism was triggered. After all the trauma and procedures, he is still in a critical condition and unable to talk as his speech was affected by the brain aneurism. Johan lives in the West Coast and is currently being hospitalised at Grootte Schuur hospital in Cape Town which is 145km drive from his home town, therefore we would like to launch this funding Campaign so that he can come home and receive the therapy he needs and be close to home with his family and 2 small children, Amber-lee (1 year) and Cayley (5 years).
