Good day everybody
We are bursting with pride and extremely excited to share with you that our son, Johan van Biljon, played his heart out during the “Bokkieweek” 7’s rugby campaign in Pretoria that took place from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2023, and his hard work and dedication has landed him a selected spot in the AVS U/14 South African 7’s rugby team (formally known as the “Duikers”). The Duikers will tour the Netherlands from the 3rd to the 12th of December 2023, for the annual junior 7’s rugby tournament.
The tour is an opportunity of a lifetime for a passionate rugby player like Johan, and we are coming to our everybody to ask for help in raising the funds.
Tour funds are R36 500, which only includes flights, accommodation, tournament fees and meals. We need to raise this amount (and a little extra for spending!) by the end of October 2023 to secure Johan’s spot in the Netherlands.
