Help Little Johan Get His Urgent Tonsillectomy
Johan is a vibrant, loving little boy who is only 2 years old. He is full of life, smiles, and joy — but recently his little body has been fighting a very difficult battle.
Since the beginning of June, Johan has been in and out of hospital after suffering severe epileptic seizures triggered by high fevers caused by ongoing tonsil problems. These episodes have been terrifying and life-threatening.
On the 3rd of June, Johan suffered 6 serious seizures within one hour. During one of these episodes, he stopped breathing. Over the course of that day, he endured a total of 8 severe seizures.
As any parent would, we rushed him to a private emergency room to get immediate medical help. I have used all the funds I had available to make sure Johan received urgent care during these frightening moments. He was stabilised at the private ER, but due to the high cost of admission and no available beds, he was transferred to a government hospital.
