In December 2023 my Dad complained of a lump in his throat that was causing him great discomfort and trouble swallowing. After a medical examination in January 24, we were given the devastating news that he has aggressive throat cancer and will need to start treatment immediately. As he does not have medical aid, we are needing to go the public health route but still face massive medical bills on the journey. Our goal is to get him treatment at a government hospital and inpatient care through a hospice. Funds will go towards initial treatment to get his weight back up, and then towards chemotherapy and a possible operation after that. My Dad is my hero and one the most incredibly talented fine artists South Africa has produced. Please help us get him the treatment he is needing and make his journey back to health as comfortable as possible.
