John David Christoffels

Since childhood, I have been deeply committed to missionary work and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Growing up in a Pentecostal church, where my father serves as a pastor, I was immersed in a life of faith and service. From a young age, I felt called to spread the Good News, actively engaging in street evangelism, distributing religious tracts, and speaking to people about the transformative power of Jesus Christ.

In 2024, I took a bold step of faith by resigning from my permanent position as a subject advisor at the Western Cape Education Department to pursue full-time theological studies at Stellenbosch University. My research for my postgraduate diploma focused on the origins of modern-day Pentecostalism and its connection to the Azusa Street Revival, a subject that deeply resonates with my calling.

Now, as I look ahead, I dream of furthering my studies by pursuing a Master’s in Theology to equip myself for a lifetime of full-time missionary work. However, I am currently facing financial challenges that make it impossible to cover the costs of my education. I a...
