Poverty, crime, gang activity, substance abuse, and a lack of positive opportunities can easily lead children down a path they never chose. For many of the children at Hout Bay Snipers Basketball Club, basketball has become far more than just a game—it has become a lifeline.
My name is Bryn Mbulawa, Founder and Chairperson of Hout Bay Snipers Basketball Club, a community-based basketball club in Hout Bay, Cape Town. Today, we're reaching out with hope in our hearts and a dream for the incredible young people we serve.
