Jona Vaughan Home

The JONA VAUGHAN HOME is located in Amanzimtoti Kwa-Zulu Natal South Africa.

The Jona Vaughan Home is a non-profit organisation. 

It is a Residential Care Centre for 84 adults and children with profound physical and intellectual disabilities, who require 24-hour care.

The Residents are housed in four cottages each with a central lounge and bathroom.

The Residents come from all economic and cultural backgrounds. Over 40% of our residents are abandoned or orphaned. 

The vast majority of our residents are in wheelchairs and diapers. 

The very special needs of the Residents and the Home makes Jona Vaughan a unique facility in KZN. 

We rely on donations from the public and companies to meet all of the Resident’s special needs as well as to clothe, provide nutritious food, and medical supplies.

Due to the current economic hardships many South Africans are facing, fund raising is becoming extremely difficult.
